Every Christmas Eve, we load up Calgary Transit buses, magically transformed into "reindeer buses," with hundreds of gifts and volunteers dressed as Santa and his elves. Meals on Wheels - Offer to help drive so that a regular volunteer can get some much-needed time off around the holidays or volunteer to pack the meals.; Donate Books - Collect the books you (and your kids) don't read anymore and donate them to the local library, school, daycare or literacy organization.; Help a Neighbor in Need - This could mean shoveling snow, mowing their lawn or picking up.
